History

In 1985 Rob Yorke founded Yorke Construction with a simple philosophy, to provide clients superb service with integrity exceeding industry standards. In 1988 Dave Curtis (Secretary/Treasurer) came on board as a partner, and the company became Yorke & Curtis, Inc. Then, in 2012, Rob Yorke retired and Erik Timmons became partners with Dave to carry on the legacy.  Working together, the partners have won respect and trust from owners, developers, and architects throughout Oregon and Southwestern Washington.

Yorke & Curtis has established a foundation of integrity, commitment, and trust. Since 1988 we have consistently delivered superior products to our clients without delay or hidden costs. We’ve worked hard to build a reputation that clients can trust and our competitors can envy.

Building Excellence

We have an incredibly simple mission to build excellence by building relationships with excellent people. We hire really good people and build relationships with excellent subcontractors so that we can be tenaciously focused on providing our clients an exceptional building and experience.

What we do.

Everyone who has ever tried to build anything understands that the process can be complicated and sometimes confusing; from understanding costs and schedule to picking out the right products that meet the needs of the project and will be durable throughout the life of a building. Projects can also be frustrating when all the client wants is honesty and a contractor who treats them fair but ends up dealing with a contractor who cheats or cuts corners.

At Yorke & Curtis, our mission is, “For the LOVE of people, we Build Excellence with Earned Trust, Natural Transparency and Generous Service.” Our goal is for every client to have an experience building a project that allows them to be as much of the process as they want to be while giving them the freedom of doing their daily business.
